Melissa + Mike {Stylized Shoot} The Details!

I’m in love with rooftop patios and gardens!  This stylized shoot from a week ago had the most wonderful secret rooftop garden location!  How many Chicagoans walk past Lightology on West Chicago Ave without knowing about the gorgeousness on their roof?  They rent it out for events!  How wonderful would it be to have your wedding up in the skyline of Chicago?! Or birthday party!

This shoot was for Melissa & Mike, probably one my most adorable couples, yet.  They’re love for each other is so genuine and sweet, but this post is about the DETAILS! (I’ll post a separate post with the smolderingly pretty portraits, soon!)

I’m part of a wonderful group of ladies called “The Photography Stylistas and I loved LOVED the process of pulling together the design elements for this shoot.  We had so much fun planning and even had a Pinterest board to help us! 🙂 We matched up gorgeous Lemon Yellow, Garden Green with touches of Grey (we even talked the sky into producing the most gorgeous fog to highlight the Chicago skyline! – Yep…I’m that good!). *Creative Team listed at the end of the post! – WONDERFUL VENDORS!*
